Darrell Pitts and Chosen are not just another choir out of Texas, but yet another star in the Lone Star state's contingent. Chosen, an anointed group of people from different church locations throughout the Houston area, love the Lord with all their being. Pitts has been singing and ministering for years, and the seasoned mastery shines through on "Give Him Praise" on Gospel Warehouse Records, produced by Shawn McLemore. The project is traditional but the instrumentation and many of the vocals follow contemporary patterns coupled with young musicians, making a winning combination on the production scale.

Rev. Darrell Pitts is an anointed Artist and singer who started singing at the age of seven. His relationship with God began to escalate when he joined the Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church in 1987. He married Isabel Pitts, a beautiful and God-fearing woman of God on May 7, 1994. He has sung with Brenda Waters, Shawn McLemore, the Southeast Inspirational Choir, and Kathy Taylor-Brown to name a few.

Rev. Pitts and Chosen opened for the 2000 Shirley Caesar Destiny Convention in Raleigh, NC on July 11, 2000, sung at the Gospel Music Workshop of America in New Orleans, August 2000 and was the backup choir for Shirley Caesar at the Sisters in the Spirit concert tour in Houston on November 12, 2000. They are also nominated "Artist of the Year" by the Texas Announcers' Guild. They have shared the stage with such recording Artist: Yolanda Adams, Mary, Mary, Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Angela Christie, Chester D. T. Baldwin, Hezekiah Walker, Timothy Wright, Blair, Angela Spivey, Blessed, Neal Roberson, Cedric Ford and many others.
